The Right to Protest

The Right to Protest

Notebook headlines

I have been collecting headlines and newspaper articles that make me shout and rage.

Articles 19 and 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights make it clear that the right to peaceful protest is a human right. This government is following the last one in making it more and more difficult for citizens to peacefully protest.
We must protest about this, most protests take place in London and other big cities, so I didn’t get to wave this banner in person, just on Instagram!

This used a different font to the previous ones. Here I wrote the words on paper with a broad nibbed pen and then transferred the text to Bondaweb. The cloth for the lettering is waste wool from Hainsworth Mill in Pudsey, Yorkshire.

Crisis? What crisis?
